sorry….
but how bout follow the original laws…like stopping at red lights instead of blowing thru them or rolling thru them…Or get rid of the law altogether. The only thing that the cameras prove is that people blatantly don’t follow laws, and our police departments have neither the money nor the means to enforce the traffic laws.

Nadine, the toll was paid and you’ll be fine. According to the tollway’s website, in this situation you did what you should have. The machinery is supposed to register that there is a problem and that you paid the toll.

Today, June 20, 2009 I was on Buckley Rd Rt 137 and took toll for 94 WB. I put 50 cents in toll and it didn’t register. There was no one to help reset it and traffic was blowing behind me. As I proceeded, the camera took a picture of my plate. Who do I speak to about this because I should not receive a ticket because I paid the toll.

Instead of wasting tax payer money (which was just increased) on this STUPID idea, why don’t you use the money to fix the terrible roads in Downers Grove. We’ve got some of the worst roads in DuPage County. I am going to send a very unhappy note to our Mayor.

they make money off those red light runners..
but what happens when a child is walking across the street?

give something to the people that MAKES THEM WANT TO SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY. not by imposing fear.
